FC Bayern München and its Internet agency, BTD Newmedia have been setting standards in the Internet since 2001. A further milestone was the eagerly awaited redesign of the FC Bayern portal.

Besides optimizing several applications like Liveticker or Webradio, the portal abounds with new features. Highlights include the free RSS function and fans own email address "name@fcbayern.de". Keen fans can now display their allegiance online as well.

Apart from the online portal, the FC Bayern online world features a fan shop and its own IPTV station. The fan shop was successfully relaunched to state-of-the-art standard in 2007 and, according to a Spiegel Online report, the IPTV station is one of the best providers of premium European football.

The online world is hosted and operated in BTD´s own high-performance computer center. The FC Bayern and BTD combo add up to an online product on par with the standards of a record-beating champion.
